Reporting to the executive director, facilities and real estate, this position will coordinate with operations and site directors in the management and oversight of new construction and remodel projects. It will assist with approving a final construction budget and reviewing cost related change orders prior to approval from the vice president of Finance. The position will coordinate with teams of trade persons that perform work related to construction, renovation, maintenance and repairs for electrical and HVAC related work. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating college-wide master planning, deferred maintenance planning, implementation of energy and other facility-related cost savings and sustainability initiatives, along with development and updating of college-wide facilities standards.
