This is position is 80% Grant Funded and is subject to annual evaluation.

Job Summary: The JLD Coordinator will identify and develop off-campus part-time, full-time job, and community service opportunities for students while they are enrolled at HACC. Strategic planning will drive this process, seeking JLD-compatible employment community service opportunities close to each campus location. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 3 year of experience in higher education or community-based organizations, or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's license

Hiring Range: Starting at $27.00

Job Specific Task List:

  • Development of off-campus jobs, student employment records and correspondence, and billing. - (Essential)
  • Assist the Director of Career Development & Transfer Services with building and maintaining relationships with local employers that provide employment and community service opportunities to HACC students - (Essential)
  • Assist Employers and students with navigating College Central Network. - (Essential)
  • Coordinate data collection to assist the Director of Career Development & Transfer Services with the submission of the annual report to the federal government on the number of students for whom positions were located, including student earnings. - (Essential)
  • Support with mini internships and on and off-campus Career Development Workshops - (Essential)
  • Perform other duties as assigned - (Standard)

Job Type: Part-Time (less than 1,000 hours)

If part time, hours per week: 20

Pennsylvania Work Location Requirement: All work, teaching, meetings, and activities related to this position must be performed within the State of Pennsylvania. This position does not offer a remote work option.
