Job Summary: Provide and help to integrate effective learning and study strategies for their assigned students, while at the same time helping to clarify and/or reinforce course content, assignments and material. 

Minimum Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent. *Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Hiring Range: $15.00

Preferred Qualifications: One semester of Tutoring experience at the college level.

Job Specific Task List:

• Facilitate one-on-one and group tutorial sessions tailored to meet student needs for content and learning styles. - (Essential)
• Make appropriate student referrals to college office, departments or professionals when necessary. - (Essential)
• Develop a good understanding and knowledge of college services, supports, and resources. - (Essential)
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of tutoring sessions. - (Essential)
• Participate in all tutor trainings - (Essential)
• Other duties as assigned - (Standard)
