Job Summary: The Wrestling Coach is responsible for leading and developing a wrestling program at the club level to later compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including recruitment, training, competition preparation, academic support, and fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to student-athlete success, and the ability to build a competitive program within NJCAA guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 2 years coaching experience. *Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Such as those listed above.
Licensing Requirements: Valid driver's license.

Hiring Range: $5,000
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
Proven success in recruiting and developing student-athletes.
Experience in fundraising, budget management, and community engagement.
First Aid/CPR certification and familiarity with sports performance training.
Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations.
Job Specific Task List:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Men's & Women's Wrestling program at the club level, with the goal of competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). - (Essential)
- Oversee all administrative and coaching activities within the programs, including coordinates training facilities, equipment maintenance, and budget monitoring. - (Essential)
- Recruit and retain student athletes while promoting academic success. - (Essential)
- Ensures compliance with the district and NJCAA eligibility rules & regulations. - (Essential)
- Represent the program in any promotional activities at school and community events - (Essential)
- Establish relationships with high school/club coaches. - (Essential)
- Prepare, schedule and organize daily practice sessions, travel schedules, game preparation for competition, and off-season training; devise team rules and expectations - (Essential)
