This position will be open until filled. 

Job Summary: This position provides support for daily functions in the Office of Human Resources and will be responsible for transactional work associated with Human Resources Information Systems. This position supports the college by completing transactional duties, reports, conflict resolution, research and communication regarding tasks essential to maintaining employee records including employee details, job information, pay information, classification information, and other types of related data. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree and 3 years of experience in administrative functions or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements: Valid driver's license required.

Hiring Range: $19.52 - $24.40

Preferred Qualifications: This position will mainly support duties in the human resources information systems team and will prefer candidates with the following background:
- Ability to navigate through more complex features of information systems such as HRIS, ERP, or student information systems
- Understanding of functions and features of programs with expert level such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive/Docs
- Prior experience navigating employee records and other human resources data
- Skilled at building and interpreting complex reports with employment data
- Understanding of how classification systems are used with human resources

Job Specific Task List:

Essential

Applies basic understanding of human resources policies and procedures and ensures optimal employee experience and accuracy of details when performing duties related to maintaining human resources records and data.

Coordinate time-sensitive processes and review/approve personnel actions related to the employment life cycle such as on-boarding, name changes, address changes, pay changes, re-activations, transfers, and separations; serves as central point of contact for personnel transactions to ensure strict adherence to operational procedures.

Applies basic understanding of employee records policies and procedures to perform duties which may include: assist with employee and job data maintenance and reporting; data recategorization; software and system updates; assist with testing the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system human resources module by setting up scenarios and/or running processes.

Assist with special projects which may include: college-wide diversity initiative, perform basic research; test/explore new processes; create/update/run reports; create informational/educational materials for employees; serve as backup to staff, including conducting presentations and employee training sessions, as needed.

Perform administrative support duties, including but not limited to: prepare communications to employees and supervisors; and various administrative support tasks such as filing, scanning, indexing, faxing, and copying. - (Essential)
