Job Summary: Provides academic instruction and student academic support for the Workforce Development Healthcare Education department in the School of Health Sciences. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree and 1 year current or previous work experience in an outpatient healthcare setting OR a combination of 1 year teaching and/or training experience AND current or previous work experience in an outpatient healthcare setting.
Licensing Requirements:
Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws and Act 15 clearances
Valid driver's license

- Teaches assigned WFD courses for Healthcare Education; School of Health Sciences. - (Standard)
- Participates in curriculum development and maintenance. - (Standard)
- Provides academic support and advising to students including establishing and maintaining a schedule of office hours. - (Standard)
- Participates in college governance by serving on joint, ad hoc, faculty, campus, division and discipline committees. - (Standard)
- Participates in the recruitment and hiring of new faculty through participation on assigned search committees. - (Standard)
- Participates in college and community service activities. - (Standard)
- Participates in professional growth activities and maintains awareness of new trends and developments within areas of instructional responsibility. - (Standard)
- Coordinate, plan, organize, and instruct academic courses according to approved course syllabus. - (Essential)
