Job Summary: The Workforce Development (WFD) Instructor – Cardiology Technician provides classroom and/or clinical instruction to adult learners in cardiac technology-related coursework. This position supports workforce readiness by delivering high-quality, competency-based instruction aligned with industry standards and certification requirements. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in field or completion of a Cardiology Technician Program.

Experience working in a Cardiology Office, extensive experience with Holter monitors, EKG.

Licensing Requirements:

Hiring Range: Varies

Preferred Qualifications:

CCT certification preferred, or other certification may be recognized.
Teaching experience preferred.

Job Specific Task List:

  • Deliver instruction in cardiology technology concepts, procedures, and clinical skills - (Essential)
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with workforce development and industry certification standards - (Essential)
  • Provide hands-on and/or lab-based instruction in cardiovascular diagnostic procedures (e.g., EKG/ECG fundamentals, cardiac monitoring) - (Essential)
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to support skill mastery and certification readiness - (Essential)
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress - (Essential)
  • Support student engagement, retention, and successful program completion - (Essential)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, clinical, and instructional standards - (Essential)
  • Collaborate with program staff and clinical partners to support student learning outcomes - (Essential)
  • Perform other duties assigned - (Standard)
