Job Summary: The executive assistant to the president and secretary to the Board of Trustees (BOT) is responsible for providing executive-level administrative support to the president and the BOT, and serves as primary point of contact for the Office of the President. Assists in the development of administrative procedures, leads special projects, and represents the Office of the President as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree and at least 7 years’ experience supporting c-level executives, or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Hiring Range: $57,469 - $71,836

- Serves as the president and ceo's liaison to the Board of Trustees (BOT) and communicates directly, and on behalf of the president and ceo, with BOT members, when necessary. - (Essential)
- Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the College president. Manages office correspondence and coordinates exchange of information to vice presidents, community leaders, students, alumni, faculty, trustees, and major donors. - (Essential)
- Maintains confidential and sensitive information with a professional demeanor. - (Essential)
- Completes projects and special assignments by the president. - (Essential)
- Acts as secretary to the Board of Trustees and maintains related records and minutes. - (Essential)
- Arranges and attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, President's Cabinet, and related activities as deemed appropriate by the president and/or chair of the BOT. - (Essential)
- Maintains a schedule of all BOT subcommittee meetings and shares it with members of the President's Cabinet and their executive assistants. - (Essential)
- Circulates all minutes to Board members and/or president's Cabinet. - (Essential)
- Prepares and distributes comprehensive meeting materials and correspondences for the Board of Trustees. - (Essential)
- Manages an extremely active calendar of appointments, arranging complete and detailed travel plans and completing expense reports. - (Essential)
- Develops and manages the executive management departmental operating budget, and reports to the ceo on the status of this budget. - (Essential)
- Maintains and tracks purchasing and documentation associated with president's office budgets. - (Essential)
- Ensures State Ethics Act forms are completed annually by College public officials/employees, as required by the law. - (Essential)
- Performs editing and publishing work associated with the president's newsletter. - (Essential)

- Other Duties Including: supervision of part-time workers (when available), managing confidential materials, planning or helping to plan events, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and completing other duties as assigned by the president. - (Essential)
