Job Summary: The Director of Workforce Development provides leadership and operational oversight for the College’s Manufacturing and Corporate Services. The director is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating publicly offered workforce programs and customized contract training that respond to the needs of local businesses, industries, and community partners. This is a revenue-generating position with direct responsibility for establishing and meeting revenue goals through employer contracts, workforce development partnerships, public training offerings, and grant-funded initiatives. The director builds and maintains relationships with employers and community organizations, identifies emerging workforce needs, develops responsive training solutions, pursues grant opportunities, and monitors program enrollment, expenses, revenue, and outcomes to ensure the department’s continued growth and financial sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 7 years of relevant experience in Workforce Development
- 2 year supervisory experience
*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Licensing Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license

Hiring Range: Starting at $84,770

- Supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates employees. Provides leadership, mentoring and performance management, ensuring appropriate assignments, cross-training, and backup of essential functions - (Essential)

- Travels to other campuses and off-site locations as needed - (Essential)
- Must have a dedicated high speed connection for connection to the college's resources remotely when needed - (Essential)
- Establishes and develops educational and training programs in collaboration with external partners, including identifying partner needs, designing program content, coordinating implementation, and assessing outcomes. - (Essential)
