Job Summary: This position ensures the effective delivery of the college's involvement programs, such as student leadership opportunities, intercultural programs, volunteer opportunities, civic engagement, and other campus initiatives supporting retention, student success, and out-of-class education. Through direct participation, independent work, and administrative support functions, this role helps to organize, execute, and ensure the success of co-curricular programming college-wide and virtually
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Licensing Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for travel to various HACC locations

Hiring Range: $29.47
Preferred Qualifications: 4 - 5 years Experience working on a Higher Education campus.

- Provides administrative support for the areas under Intercultural Student Success; orders supplies, tracks budget lines, interacts with students, answers phones, schedules meetings, completes contracts and purchase orders, arranges for payments, and reserves campus spaces using strong, positive communication skills to support the endeavors of the areas - (Essential)
- Maintains online college calendar of student events and activities; gathers and tracks all activities college-wide under Intercultural Student Success to be used in various publications, electronic newsletters, and other outreach efforts regularly. - (Essential)
- Works independently and effectively manages projects assigned, demonstrating an ability to prioritize requests and organize the assigned workload; may assign and monitor work of student workers. - (Essential)
- Gathers data on a range of student populations such as traditional-age students, dual enrollment, adult/non-traditional students, veterans, and first-generation students. - (Essential)
- Processes and monitors personnel transactions and paperwork to hire, reappoint, and terminate department employees; assists with budget preparation; performs research. - (Essential)
- Disseminates information that may require explanation and interpretation of established College and departmental policies and procedures, and directs individuals to sources of additional information - (Essential)
- Recognizes the opportunity for process improvement and participates in the implementation. May serve on inter-departmental and/ or college-wide committees. - (Essential)
- Provides event support as needed; may require travel to other campuses. Assist in the planning, organizing and executing a diverse range of campus events, activities, and programs to enhance student engagement and the overall campus experience. - (Essential)
- Consult with internal and external training providers to design, facilitate and deliver comprehensive leadership and service education (e.g., other training and development opportunities) for student leaders ( across campus. - (Essential)
- In partnership with the Student Government Association advisors, provide guidance and support to student government and club/organization leaders, assisting them in effectively navigating the complexities of governance, advocating for student needs, and executing their responsibilities. - (Essential)
- Lead strategic planning and implementation efforts to increase student access to leadership development and engagement programs and opportunities - (Essential)
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness and impact of leadership programs and initiatives. - (Essential)
- Recruit, train, mentor, and support student workers assigned to the office. - (Essential)
- Coordinate in collaboration with supervisor in the maintenance of budgets for leadership programming and engagement initiatives - (Essential)
