Job Summary: Develops, implements, and manages initiatives, projects and events aligned with the strategic success of the Office of Campus life, Engagement & Retention, including workshops, trainings, inclusive spaces, and other initiatives that promote an inclusive and equitable college environment. This position collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to address issues of institutional equity, bias, and discrimination; this position also provides administrative support to the vice president for inclusion and diversity. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience.*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements: Valid driver's license.
PA ACT 15

Hiring Range: $57,500 - $62,000

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with executive support, and project management.

Job Specific Task List:

  • Under the direction of the vice president for campus and student life, develop and implement educational programming around campus & student life, including It's On Us peer education program for students, facilitating guest speakers and other learning opportunities for students and employees, and other initiatives aligned with best practice and current research. - (Essential)
  • Support vice president in implementing $1 million Innovation Fund initiatives. - (Essential)
  • Manage design and development of program assessment, compile and analyze data and prepare necessary reports; develop and maintain database (attendance) of required and optional student and professional development trainings/workshops in conjunction with Office of Human Resources and Department of Student Involvement; maintain non-compliance log and associated records. - (Essential)
  • Coordinate event details including communication, venues, presenters, travel arrangements, materials, refreshments and technology are arranged and completed in an appropriate and timely manner. - (Essential)
  • Assist in development and maintenance of bias reporting system, processes, and community education. - (Essential)
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information with a professional demeanor, and complete projects and special assignments by the vice president campus and student life - (Essential)
  • Serve as Title IX investigator for student on student cases; prepare relevant reports and respond to internal and external inquiries related to gender and sex-based discrimination; maintain reports of grievances/complaints of violations of the College's Title IX Sex Discrimination SGP; develop and maintain a comprehensive database of Title IX cases, inquiries, investigations, etc. in coordination with deputy Title IX coordinator. - (Essential)
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Campus life, Engagement & Retention, including the management of office correspondence, the vice president's calendar, and coordinate exchange of information internal and external stakeholders, and other inquiries related to the Office of Campus life, Engagement & Retention of the President; manage and track purchasing and documentation associated with Office of Campus and Student Life budget. - (Essential)
  • Provide clerical support to the work of the Board of Trustees Diversity Committee and the Campus & Student life Joint Committee, including recording of minutes, coordinating of meetings, and responding to inquiries of Trustees/committee members. - (Essential)
  • Maintain office web presence in accordance with institutional guidelines. - (Essential)
  • Work with the executive assistant to the president/secretary to the board to ensure seamless operation of the Office of the President. - (Essential)
